Our Approach to Outsourced In-House Counsel Engagements:

Modern In-House Legal Solutions utilizes its innovative approach to legal representations for each client.

First:  We will work with you to determine what type of representation is most beneficial given your particular needs.  At Modern In-House Legal Solutions, we strive to provide certainty in the cost of legal services; however, not all representations are beneficial on a fixed-fee arrangement.  Therefore, at our first meeting, we will work with you to determine your legal-service requirements and whether a fixed-fee arrangement is in your company’s best interests.  Standard hourly-rate arrangements are provided through A. M. Saccullo Legal, LLC.

Next:  We will determine the nature of the legal advice that your company may require on a monthly basis.  Every engagement is different, but typically a small to mid-sized company will require any of the following: contract drafting and review, development of standard business forms, advice on human resource matters, participation in board meetings and coordination of board actions, and litigation management.  Essentially, your senior management team will have access to legal advice to guide your company’s strategic decisions, and your sales force will have efficient access to contract review work that may be critical to establishing new business relationships.

Next:  Once we have a better understanding of your company’s needs, we can discuss how your company can benefit from an “outsourced in-house counsel” arrangement, and we can finalize pricing for the engagement.  Importantly, we will also discuss how to best integrate the newly-attained legal services into your current operations, to ensure that your company derives the maximum benefit from the new engagement.

Every Modern In-House Legal Solutions engagement requires a standard form of engagement letter that clearly sets forth your company’s rights and responsibilities, and also clearly describes the engagement parameters.  Once the engagement letter is executed, our services will begin.
